Founded in 1951 as an owner-managed company, our field of expertise (field of work, scope of duties) is the development and manufacture of devices for measuring and monitoring gaseous and liquid substances in pipelines.
Until the beginning of 2020, Kirchner und Tochter continued to exist as a medium-sized, family-run company for over 3 generations. Since May 2020 we belong to the BAMO Group.
Teamwork is absolutely essential
We are a well-coordinated and motivated team: at Kirchner und Tochter everyone gives of their best in order to deliver really good results. It is only when everyone in their job develops the quality that the next-in-line expects, can optimum results be achieved.
We have a good age structure: older, longstanding employees pass their knowledge on to younger colleagues, so keeping valuable knowledge alive within the company.
Our quality assurance system
You as the customer are only satisfied when the product is right, and that only works with an effectual quality assurance system. That is guaranteed by the high standard of our test stands for gas and liquid flow measurement.
In our company the DIN ISO is not only documented once a year in an audit, it is also ‘lived’. At 1.6%, the quota of customer complaints in 2013 – referred to all delivered orders – is extremely low. Where a complaint is justified, that is a reason for us to make even greater efforts.
Regular further-education courses for our staff members are a Must to enable us to continue development work and manufacturing at a high standard in keeping with customer requirements.
Our quality management
Our quality management system is monitored and certified by the DVGW in conformity with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Kirchner und Tochter is an approved pressure equipment manufacturer in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.
